TUCSON, Ariz. ?EUR??,,????'??? John Harlow, Jr. and Clay Thompson were recipients of 2002 Xeriscape landscape competition awards. Harlow was presented with the award for Best Low-Maintenance landscape, while Thompson won the Attracting Urban Wildlife Award. Harlow used a variety of cacti and agaves to create diverse shapes and colors when in bloom, providing for a very clean, low maintenance landscape. The goal of Thompson?EUR??,,????'???s project was to blend in plantings to enhance and maintain the integrity of the natural desert while attracting hummingbirds, butterflies, quail and bees.
