Winner of the National Arbor Day Foundation Media award, The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Trees, second edition book by David More & John White is a perfect resource for arborists and landscape professionals.
The book will officially be released Wednesday, June 19th and will be available for purchase at select Barnes & Noble bookstores, as well as Amazon.com.
Over 5,000 illustrations of nearly 2,000 trees, that can be found in the forests, landscapes, and gardens of North America and Europe are illustrated by artist David More. For over a decade David More has created detailed paintings of trees--leaves, needles, bark, blossoms, fruits, nuts, and cones.
The paintings are accompanied by expert text from John White, a former research dendrologist at the UK's Forestry Commission, where he worked for more than three decades before his retirement. He is also the author of Forest and Woodland Trees in Britain.
Thus far, reviewers are saying, "The very best book I can imagine for identifying trees." -Seattle Times
"Because of the meticulous detail, all tree lovers will find this a necessary encyclopedic book." -National Gardener
