Charles Tomlinson, new TCNC executive director.

Turfgrass Council of North Carolina (TCNC) President Dean Baker reports the council?EUR??,,????'???s board has selected Charles Tomlinson executive director and Michele Harrington executive secretary. Both take their posts March 1, 2006.

Tomlinson is a past president of TCNC and its treasurer since 1989. He is a charter member and past chair of the Industry Advisory Board of North Carolina State University?EUR??,,????'???s Center for Turfgrass Environmental Research and Education, a member and past president of the National Roadside Vegetation Management Association and has served on an industry advisory committee for the Transportation Research Board of The National Academy of Sciences. Tomlinson is retiring from the North Carolina Department of Transportation Roadside Environmental Unit after more than 24 years of service.
