TNLA 2013

TNLA was established in 1999 when the Texas Association of Nurserymen (est. 1918) merged with the Texas Association of Landscape Contractors (est. 1964). Together they have 2,500 members, both small businesses and professional landscapers, in which they support with legislative/regulatory advocacy, education, and networking opportunities.

This year's Texas Nursery and Landscape Association's annual educational conference and expo will occupy the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.

The show begins on Thursday, August 15th and comes to a close on Saturday, August 17th, which differs slightly from last year's Friday to Sunday show. When asked about the change, staff member, Anna McGarity said, "We changed the days to accommodate more people, this way they still have some of their weekend left."

TNLA's expected 6,000 attendees will have the opportunity to visit 1,100 booth; hear three keynote speakers (one for each day); earn over 100 CEUs in an expanded education program; see product demos; attend networking events, and an awards dinner.

Although the location of next year's show has been announced (San Antonio) the dates will not be released until mid-August. One thing is for sure though; you can expect a BIG Texas-sized expo to celebrate their 50th expo anniversary.
