The first important thing that happened to Joe Yamada was finding Harriet Wimmer at the very beginning of his career. The other was to have Pat Caughey as a partner and the president of the firm. ?EUR??,,????'?????<

Working closely with Rees Jones, the landscaping at the Santa Luz Golf Course complements the fairways and greens with a minimalist approach.

After Joe got out of the service he went on to study Landscape Architecture at Berkeley. ?EUR??,,????'?????<

This intricate series of level changes and pedestrian walkways at California State University of San Marcos was designed by the Wimmer, Yamada & Caughey team.

The Arco Olympic Training Center is an all-weather, 150-acre complex that trains 4,000 athletes per year.
