During the Nov. 2013 Irrigation Show in Austin, Texas The Toro Company donated $20,000 to the Irrigation Foundation's E3 Program, which designated them as the 2014 program sponsor. "Toro is a proud supporter of this initiative and feels that there is real value to having students interact with our industry on a face-to-face basis," says Judson McNeil, president of The Toro Foundation, Toro's charitable giving program. "The Irrigation Show is one of the best places for future leaders in our industry to establish meaningful relationships and walk away with a comprehensive impression of the irrigation industry." The Irrigation E3 Program is a unique opportunity for Irrigation E3 Learners (students) and Irrigation E3 Leaders (faculty members) to attend the Irrigation Show (all-expenses-paid) and participate in education classes, interact with the latest technologies, network with industry leaders, and gain a real-life perspective of the irrigation industry. "The Irrigation Foundation is looking forward to partnering with Toro in the continued success of our unique Irrigation E3 Program, which sends promising students and influential educators to the Irrigation Show," says Steve McCoon of Nelson Irrigation Corp. and current chair of the Foundation. "The Foundation is grateful for Toro's support and is excited to see that our work with students really resonates with them." As the 2014 Irrigation E3 sponsor, Toro and the E3 participants will have the exclusive opportunity to build meaningful relationships that will ultimately culminate in one-one-one interactions at the 2014 Irrigation Show in Phoenix.
