The Successful Landscape Seminar at The Morton Arboretum

LISLE, Ill.?EUR??,,????'??+The Morton Arboretum and Ornamental Growers Association has announced a new professional seminar, "The Successful Landscape," to be held Friday, February 20, 2004 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The seminar will be held in the Thornhill Education Center at The Morton Arboretum.

Targeted to green industry professionals, the seminar will feature presentations by nationally recognized industry experts, as well as networking opportunities for participants. Timely topics will be offered ranging from new research on how to best deliver water to plants, to rain gardens, to environmentally riendly parking lots.

"We ask green trade professionals to tell us what their ?EUR??,,????'??hot topics?EUR??,,????'??? are," says Jan Little, the Arboretum's Manager of Horticulture Education. "Then we schedule instructors who are renowned for their leading-edge work in that area."

Nine different presentations will be offered in this day-long seminar. Participants can earn continuing education units through a number of professional organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture, the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association and the Illinois Nurserymen's Association.
