Perhaps the longest running show of its kind in the western U.S., the Landscape Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center October 6-7 expects to draw upwards of 4,000 landscape professionals looking to see the latest in landscape products, tools and equipment. The Expo will feature more than 45 educational seminars and great opportunities to network with suppliers and colleagues.

The Landscape Expo, formerly the Southern California Turfgrass Council Show, will celebrate its 50th Anniversary when it opens its doors at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif., October 6-7.

A special exhibit booth sponsored by the Southern California Turfgrass Council (SCTC) will highlight its 50 years of service to the California landscape industry with historical photographs and other memorabilia.

Working together with Landscape Communications, Inc., who took over the Expo in 2007, the SCTC is also sponsoring special cash & prize giveaways at the show.

A special 50th anniversary after-show party poolside at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach begins at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6. The party will include a brief panel discussion by the CLASS Fund and the Southern Calif. ASLA Chapter, with experts from the construction, design, water and public works sectors participating. After the discussion, a live band will perform, sponsored by SCTC. AA Equipment, Eliet, Turfstar and Liquid Fence are the other party sponsors.

The Hyatt Regency Long Beach is one of two official Expo hotels for the Landscape Expo and is in walking distance to the Long Beach Convention Center.

The expo is open to all landscape professionals, whether involved in design, build or maintenance. Attendees can pre-register now for a free exhibit hall pass and also sign up for seminars at www.landscapearchitect.com. For registration information, please call LCI at (714) 979-5276, ext. 115.
