The countdown clock is ticking and excitement is building for the 2010 Landscape Expo, taking place October 6th & 7th, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California. The show runs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. each day.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the newest products, tools and equipment all in one convenient location. The expo is also a place where awesome deals can be made, so its not a show to miss if you're in the marketplace for tools, products or equipment.
Another way the expo helps entrepreneurs build their business, and employees enhance their skills and industry knowledge, is through education. They will also be donating $5000 in cash prizes to be given away during both days of the show. RH Peterson Company will be giving away an American Outdoor Stainless Steel Grill worth $2000. There will be an antique tractor display by AA Equipment located next to the SCTC exhibit,
After the show on Wednesday, Oct. 6th, the SCC/ASLA and the CLASS Fund will be hosting a brief panel discussion starting at 3:00 p.m. The topic of this discussion will be 2011-Thoughts on What Lies Ahead: A compact overview of the future from experts in construction, design, irrigation, and the public sector. A 50th anniversary after-show party will immediately follow the discussion. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at tiny.cc/TLEParty.
Project Evergreen's GreenCare for Troops, a non-profit that works with local businesses to provide free landscaping services to military families in need, will be at the show to promote their mission. Along with the National Guard, they will be offering attendees a chance to get a free snapshot taken with the Guard's ''Patriot Chopper,'' custom built by Orange County Choppers.
