BIA was notably impressed with the quality and diversity of entries. This diverse field made for intense competition and difficult decisions. A jury panel of architects from around the country independently reviewed and scored each of the entries. In the end, eight projects were chosen as the best in their field. Winners hail from all across the North America, truly reinforcing the national status of the award. The Best In Class winners will receive a plaque commemorating the 2009 Brick In Architecture Awards. They will also be featured in the November 2009 issue of Brick in Architecture, which will be included as an insert in the November issue of Architectural Record. Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will be listed there as well for their accomplishments. In addition, all winners will be featured in the Brick Gallery on BIA?EUR??,,????'?????<
