The ARA, CLA and TFI Drop Relationship Plans

The Agricultural Retailers Association, CropLife America and The Fertilizer Institute announced their decision to discontinue efforts to create a new interdependent relationship. In December 2003, there was an agreement in principle to pursue this, however efforts to finalize the implementation and transition plans were halted because the associations were unable to reach agreement on some key issues. The ARA, CLA and TFI pledge to continue efforts to collaborate on issues of shared interest including their individual support for the state and regional institutions. The Agricultural Retailers Association is the national trade organization for the retail sector of the agricultural industry. CropLife America represents the developers, manufacturers, formulators and distributors of plant science solutions for agriculture and pest management. The fertilizer Institute represents the nations fertilizer industry.
