Texas Parks Awards MESA

Since opening in June 2010, the 172-acre Central Park has become a landmark destination for the Grand Prairie community. The park comprises five lakes (two stocked with fish), three waterfalls, walking/jogging trails circling the lakes and restored prairie and wetlands.

The Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) awarded the landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm MESA its 2011 Planning Excellence Award for the master plan and landscape design for Central Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Dallas-based MESA, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2011, does comprehensive, master planning for commercial, civic, educational and institutional clients, but also intimate residential garden spaces on private estates. MESA?EUR??,,????'?????<
