Texas ASLA Chapter

Attendees at the Texas ASLA Conference bid on items donated by exhibitors in the silent auction. Proceeds from the auction went to endowment funds for each of the major Texas universities to provide scholarships to students pursuing landscape architecture degrees.

The Texas ASLA Chapter held their Annual Conference in April, where professional award recipients were honored for outstanding projects that contribute to the quality of life for all citizens of Texas, plus exceptional projects located outside of the state that were executed by Texas Chapter members.

David Todd (foreground) and Jonathan Ogren (background) presented the keynote address at the Texas ASLA Conference in Austin. Todd is the founder and executive director of the Conservation History Association of Texas, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental education. Ogren teaches in the Community and Regional Planning Department at the University of Texas, and is the founder and principal of Siglo Group, a firm that helps clients integrate natural systems into land planning and design.
