Megan Terry, RLA, ASLA by Rebecca Radtke, LASN
Licensed Landscape Architect and SITES Accredited Professional with Water and Environmental Technologies, Megan Terry, RLA, ASLA, presented a live and recorded session with LandscapeWebinars.org on Feb. 27. Titled, "Sustainability Health and Resilience Plans for Rural Communities," this session explored, from a practical standpoint, a climate action plan that she enacted in Butte, Montana. Terry explained how to approach interactive advocacy efforts through personal stories like her own as a wildland firefighter and as a foster parent so cut through any political viewpoints regarding climate change. She also walked attendees through implementing SHARP for funding - much like how her work in Butte, Montana received for a $20 million grant from the EPA.
