Three local sports teams will receive sponsorship money courtesy of Weed Man's Community Sports Sponsorship. After uploading team pictures to Facebook, those with the most likes by August 3, 2015 will be deemed the winners.

Weed Man USA, a lawn care franchising company, has announced its 2015 Community Sports Sponsorship, which gives local sports teams the opportunity to win up to $5,000 in sponsorship money plus a Weed Man team hydration kit.

"Healthy lawns are not just there to look at," says Paul Brooks, vice president. "Healthy turf also makes for great sports fields. Weed Man is a big supporter of getting people outdoors to enjoy the health benefits associated with nature and exercise, and the camaraderie of team sports. We're proud to offer these sponsorships to local teams so they can continue to get outside and play."

First prize will be $5,000, second prize $3,000, and third prize $1,000. All three winners will also receive a Weed Man team hydration kit.

Teams wanting to enter the contest may upload a photo of their team to Weed Man USA's Facebook page. Include team name, league name and city/town and state, and then encourage everyone you know to vote for your photo. The picture with the most likes as of the contest closing date on Monday, August 3, 2015 will be deemed the winner.
