The landscape installation industry has many sizeable feats to overcome in order to make a profit. Juggling the amount of inventory to keep on hand, knowing which kind of material to use for a particular job, managing the labor for the installation and much more go into consideration. Combine these obstacles with the logistics of moving crews and material and you have a potential nightmare. Super Lawn Trucks, with headquarters in Fort Valley, Ga., tackled this problem head on and is proud to introduce the Super Contractor Truck. The truck combines a reliable, correctly rated, single or crew cab forward style medium duty truck with an enclosed body and rear dump body in one package. Gas or diesel engines as well as alternative fuel vehicles such as CNG are available. To watch a video about the Super Contractor Truck , click on this link. The idea behind this new truck and truck body combination is simple. Construction crews invest in a growing assortment of hand and power tools to improve job site productivity. From chop saws, compactors, laser levels, to hand tools and joint sand, you really improve tool life when they are stored inside. The problem with most truck designs is you simply don't have enough storage space inside today's I-Pack toolboxes. Landscape contractors need more lockable tool storage to prevent the need to load/unload tools and reduce the need for expensive shop/warehouse space.
The engineers at Super Lawn Trucks have designed a tool storage system large enough for walk in storage, loading a pallet of joint sand or mortar. It still has a nice flat bed or dump truck for pallets or bulk materials. We packaged our first prototype unit on the Fuso Crew Cab - FE160 - and created 6,500 pounds of cargo potential and the ability to seat seven. The Super Contractor Truck is custom built for each company. For example, one company may need to use their dump body as a flat bed. The addition of removable, fold down and drive on ramp sides make all this possible. The enclosed body can also be altered to have swinging doors, a roll up door, stairwells and drive on ramps. Another company may have the need to haul a skid steer on a trailer. For this, a single cab diesel 19,500 GVW Isuzu truck with a receiver hitch will be recommended. This truck allows the ultimate amount of flexibility. SLT works carefully with each client on their truck design. While designing the layout of the truck such as the doors and drive on ramp style is important, SLT takes the amount of tools, equipment, material and crew regularly used into consideration to build a truck to last. Longevity of the truck itself comes second to the safety of the crew in the truck as well as the community. Trucks should be properly equipped to handle the amount of material on board. Overloaded trucks are dangerous to everyone and a company's image.
This body package can be installed on Isuzu gas or diesel powered trucks on either single or crew cab models. Just tell us how many men and what type of equipment and materials you want to haul. We'll help you design the perfect Super Contractor Truck. Super Contractor Trucks turn heads everywhere they go. The design allows for custom graphic installation and paint options to make the already unique build of this truck to stand out even more. Branding a company by custom paint colors on the trucks help potential clients recognize your fleet. Companies across America are embracing our trucks to help coordinate the logistics of crew and material management. Those companies are finding that by reducing two trucks to one, Super Contractor Truck saves them big right from the start. It requires only one truck and crew to safely transport weather sensitive equipment in the enclosed body. Material in the dump body can also be used as a flat bed with removable sides.
