On Jan. 4, 2010, the city of West Hollywood began repaving the Sunset Strip roadway, which hasn’t been done since it was converted from a dirt road in the 1930s.
The Strip is a 1.6-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard that passes through West Hollywood from Sierra Drive to Harper Avenue.
