Street and Area Lighting Conference in October

The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) will host the 24th Annual Street and Area Lighting Conference in October in San Diego, Calif.

The three-day conference (Oct. 2-5) is dedicated to the continuing education of a wide range of outdoor lighting professionals including, designers, engineers, managers, directors and planners from municipalities, cooperatives, utilities, consultant firms and urban planners with responsibilities in outdoor lighting.

Three days of educational sessions and three sessions of exhibits will enable attendees to gain an edge on current outdoor lighting practices. From lighting novice to experienced veterans, the conference offers basic courses to advanced lighting courses. The conference program covers a wide range of topics such as security lighting, liability, design criteria and ordinances. Utility case studies are also planned. Speakers are recognized industry leaders and offer cutting-edge information you can only get at this conference, exclusively focused on outdoor lighting.
