Southwest Hort Show Changes Date, Location

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Arizona Nursery Association's (ANA) 2001 Southwest Horticultural Trade Show and Conference rolls into Phoenix on Sept. 13-14. Scheduling the event a week later than normal, the association hopes to avoid conflicting with Labor Day activities.

Also new is the show's venue: this year it will be held in the Phoenix Civic Plaza. The new location offers greater dock accessibility for exhibitors, making the set-up process easier, according to ANA.

A gold tournament will be held on Sept. 12, along with a Wednesday Night Social at the Bank One Ballpark picnic area, where the Arizona Diamondbacks play the Colorado Rockies.

The Education Conference will run each morning of the show,

and ANA is currently asking for input on session topics.
