Southern California ASLA Chapter Gala & Design Awards

On December 6, 2007, LASN attended the 70th Anniversary Gala Celebration of the Southern California ASLA Chapter at Disney?EUR??,,????'?????<

Vicki Phillipy, executive director of the chapter, said the evening was not only about the 2008 Quality of Life Design Awards, but also about celebrating the chapter?EUR??,,????'?????<

In her opening remarks Ms. Phillipy acknowledged she was ?EUR??,,????'?????<

Over 30 Honor and Merit awards were given to local firms for their impressive landscape architecture designs. The Award of Excellence went to Mia Lehrer + Associates for the Los Angeles River Revitalization Master Plan. Friends of the Los Angeles River and Amigos de Bolsa Chica were honored with Public Stewardship awards for significant contributed to the environment.
