The term ?EUR??,,????'??die-hard fans?EUR??,,????'?? has taken on a whole new meaning thanks to the German soccer club, Hamburg SV. A cemetery is being constructed next door to their stadium for fans who want to spend eternity near their favorite team.
?EUR??,,????'??For a large number of people, it?EUR??,,????'???s important to be close to the club after their lives are over,?EUR??,,????'?? said deputy chairman Christian Reichert. ?EUR??,,????'??The cemetery will have the look of a small, open stadium.?EUR??,,????'??
Officials think that competition for plots will be fierce with 42,000 registered supporters of the team and only 500 graves available.
The cemetery, which will be located just 50-feet from the stadium, is scheduled to be complete in September. A war memorial from the team?EUR??,,????'???s former stadium, as well as commemorative stones are also included in the plans.
