With Avant Tecno's rotary brooms, the brush rests on its bristles instead of wheels, and the whole brush axle is floating freely, which increases movement space and reduces noise. Extendable supports prop up the broom when not in use to prevent damage.

Western Products' patriotic lift arm kit for UltraMount® and UltraMount® 2 series snowplows is available to Sept. 1. For each sale, $50 will be donated to Camp Hometown Heroes, a free summer camp for children of fallen U.S. service members.

An Assist from Associations

The Accredited Snow Contractors Association's Snow Academy, a half day of education about risk management, contracts, weather insurance, and more has two scheduled dates left this year, Boston on Sept. 21 and Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 29. https://www.ascaonline.org/snowacademy.aspx

The Snow and Ice Management Association offers a free best practices checklist that can be used by professional contractors to assess the proficiency of their snow management operations.
