?EUR??,,????'??If your city doesn’t have a skatepark, then your city is a skatepark,?EUR??,,????'?? says Skaters for Public Skateparks, a nonprofit group in Wilsonville, Ore. ?EUR??,,????'??dedicated to providing the information necessary to ensure safe, rewarding, freely-accessible skateparks.?EUR??,,????'??

Skaters for Public Skateparks (SPS) is providing a ?EUR??,,????'??Skatepark Process?EUR??,,????'?? section (and a discussion forum) on its website (skatersforpublicskateparks.org) to walk contractors, designers and municipalities through the steps leading to site selection and construction of skateparks. These free resources include management approaches, community involvement, site selection and development, maintenance figures and design costs.

Kent Dahlgren, SPS executive director, says access to such information was previously not easy to come by.

Rod Wojtanik, project manager and landscape architect for the Portland Parks, seconds that. He believes this resource will save cities the trouble and expense of developing such information?EUR??,,????'??+money that can go instead toward building skateparks.
