Sims Tree Learning Center Wins Founders Award

On September 20, Sims Tree Learning Center was presented the "Durrell Maughn Founders Award" at the annual 2003 California Urban Forestry Conference in Rohnert Park.

The honor is awarded to an organization that has done the most in the past year to advance urban forestry education in California. Sims Tree Learning Center has shown innovation and leadership, demonstrated by the many workshops, tours and open gardens held each year at their Learning Center.
