Since 1978, the JF Shea Therapeutic Riding Center in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. has been offering therapeutic riding and speech therapy services to people with all levels of disabilities. To meet a growing need for their services, a new facility will allow the center to expand from 200 riders per week to approximately 400. Gravelpave2, installed at the center by Invisible Structures, helps maintain a comfortable walking area for the horses, parking for cars, and a mess-free area for visitors. It was also applied to specific areas for emergency access. The tan mat system was filled with decomposed granite–thus assisting in the reduction of ruts and potholes. Model 2020 rolls were used throughout the installation for a less time-consuming installation.
