The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) recently released the September labor market report for nonfarm payroll.

 

According to the report, September saw 40 states and the District of Columbia increased nonfarm payroll employment compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, nine states lost jobs and Wyoming reported no change.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, nationwide nonfarm payroll employment increased by 336,000 in September following a 227,000 increase in August.

Year-over-year, 3.2 million jobs have been added to the job market. Comparatively, construction sector jobs in 27 states saw a boost.
