Designer, Project Manager, former Information Technology Specialist, and St. Louis Community College instructor, Elizabeth Desrosiers presented a live and recorded webinar on February 29th to help industry professionals learn processes, templates, and how to recognize good resources when determining digital tools for landscape design.
She went through workflows that can integrate useful programs for each step. Desrosiers went on to show attendees software criteria, 2D and 3D tools, and digital assets.
Desrosiers talked explained further workflow information that can be used during specific instances. One component that was particularly impactful were the selection criteria that you should be asking when determining your next steps.
Attendees also received valuable resources that include information about various program's costs, uses, and support.

Webinar Description:
Project Management
With so many different software programs, websites, and mobile applications available for designing landscapes, it can often be overwhelming to prioritize software needs and select a cost-effective, functional solution.
For example, do you need a full-featured CAD (computer aided drafting) solution, or can you achieve your design goals with a layer-based visualization application? How do the costs and features compare across multiple tool choices? This webinar walks through typical features provided by these tools, and recommends ways to prioritize your needs, compare costs, and find reliable sources for training and support.
