Savannah, Ga. to Host NRMCA Conference

Industry leaders will gather in March at the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association?EUR??,,????'?????<

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) will honor the achievements of three notable industry leaders during its annual convention in March. Larry Gibbes of Argos USA, Peter Deem who recently retired from Holcim and David Twomey, Sr. who recently passed away and will be honored posthumously. Each has had a distinguished career promoting ready mixed concrete to a variety of audiences.

The NRMCA’s convention will be held March 4 – 6 at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel in Savannah, Ga. Several committee meetings, a golf tournament and the chairman’s welcome reception will be held on March 4.

Day two of the convention will feature a housing update by Harvard Kennedy School Managing Director of the Joint Center for Housing Studies Eric Belsky, the annual members meeting, a political update with John Sununu and a state of the industry update with association executive director Robert Garbini. More committee meetings are scheduled for day three of the event.
