San Fernando Valley CLCA Chapter Beautification Awards






The Sweepstakes award, presented to the entry judged best in all categories, went to Southern California Landscape of Mission Hills.


The San Fernando Valley chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) recently held its 46th Annual Beautification Awards ceremony in Granada Hills, Calif. Several talented landscape contractors were recognized for their work, including seven who fell into special awards categories. The goal of the awards program is to encourage interest in landscaping; to recognize craftsmen who produce outstanding landscapes; to create pride in superior workmanship; and to bestow public recognition on companies, institutions, municipalities, and residents for their interest in a beautiful California. In all, 23 first place awards were distributed, including special awards for 3 Pinos Landscape of Northridge, Oliver Holt Landscape of Northridge, Majestic Pools & Landscape of Northridge, Gothic Landscaping of Valencia, Sheridan Landscaping of Sun Valley, and Southern California Landscape of Mission Hills.






Sheridan Landscaping of Sun Valley won the Bob Moore Memorial award, which is presented to the contractor whose work shows the best use of rock and boulders.

The F.H. Arklin award was presented to Gothic Landscaping of Valencia for excellence in craftsmanship.







The Colorscape award was given to Oliver Holt Landscape of Northridge.







The Hardscape award was given to Majestic Pools & Landscape of Northridge.







Majestic Pools & Landscape also won the President?EUR??,,????'???s Choice award.







The Special Effects award went to 3 Pinos Landscape of Northridge.
