GRANADA HILLS, Calif.?EUR??,,????'???The San Fernando Valley Chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) presented its 44th Annual Beautification Awards in June. Thirteen contractors were recognized for their excellence in craftsmanship, installation and landscape management. The award categories and winners included: ?EUR??,,????'???? Custom Residential: Majestic Pools and Landscape, Granada Hills, Shierts residence ?EUR??,,????'???? Sweepstakes (entry judged best of all categories): Holt Landscape, Northridge, Kaplan Sports Complex ?EUR??,,????'???? Arklin Memorial (excellence in craftsmanship), Stay Green Inc., Santa Clarita and Bridgeport projects ?EUR??,,????'???? Xeriscape: Larson Landscape & Maintenance from Tarzana, Hoyt residence ?EUR??,,????'???? President?EUR??,,????'???s Choice (excellence in craftsmanship for a residential project), Southern California Landscape from San Fernando, Kaufman residence This year there were 62 projects entered into the Beautification awards competition. Three industry experts, not members of the local chapter, judged the projects. One of the judges was a prior chapter president of the local chapter and is no longer involved in the chapter. One judge was a past president of another chapter, and the third judge was a local horticulturist.
