The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) has worked with Steven Goldsmith, the contest planner, in an effort to promote the contest. Furthermore, ASLA has been asked to coordinate incoming information as well as host a party to kick off the event.

Goldsmith hopes to get the contest implemented for each Olympics and make it a traveling display of quality sustainable work. His hope is to make the submitted projects an example for the world to see.

A publishing company has shown interest in compiling a book showcasing all the submissions for the upcoming contest.
