Safeplay Systems Is Now EcoPlay Playgrounds

The new logo for EcoPlay Playgrounds includes the tagline "Planet Friendly Fun" to emphasize the environmental aspect of recycling plastic milk jugs to create its playground equipment. The company reports just one of its structures keeps some 30,000 containers out of landfills.

Safeplay Systems Inc., a designer/manufacturer/installer of commercial playground equipment made from recycled consumer high-density polyethylene plastic (milk jugs) based in Marietta, Georgia, announces its name change to EcoPlay Playgrounds. The new brand and corporate website is at www.ecoplayplaygrounds.com.

This announcement comes at the beginning of the 25th anniversary of the company being in business.

Back in March of 2014, Safeplay Systems Inc., was acquired by new ownership.

Kent Gregoire, co-owner and CEO, notes that the playgrounds from Safeplay Systems are made from its EcoPlay product, which is produced in the Marietta, Georgia facility. For years the company has promoted itself as EcoPlay Playgrounds from Safeplay Systems; rebranding the company and product under one name was the logical step.

The emphasis at EcoPlay Playgrounds will continue to be on custom playgrounds. Its sales focus is churches, homeowner associations, multi-family apartment complexes, childcare centers and government/military markets.
