Sky Crossing; Phoenix, Arizona
Pairing design elements with amenities, RVi designed Sky Crossing to reflect a naturally beautiful, active-living community. The design transforms its Sonoran Desert setting into a sanctuary through comprehensive planning and landscape architecture services ranging from brand development to amenity programming, landscape design, and master planning. The project guides movement and encourages interaction through connected open spaces throughout the community. Featuring a community center, fitness center, resort style pools, a splash pad, trails, and adventure playgrounds, the layout was crafted to link spaces in a functional way. The final design emphasized restoring ecological balance and maintaining the natural elements found throughout the desert region.

Eastmark transforms the former GM proving grounds into a desert community centered on inclusivity, connection, and environmental restoration. Guided by a vision of lifelong residency, the master plan weaves diverse housing, native landscapes, and amenities that range from neighborhood parks to a 90-acre Great Park anchored by scenic views. A network of trails, mixed use destinations, and civic spaces encourages walkability and interaction. RVi's scope included master planning, landscape architecture, and community development. Eastmark has won several awards, including the AZ ASLA President's Award for Project of the Year, the PCBC Gold Nugget, and the 2019 50 Best Master-Planned Communities in the United States award.
Blackrock; Henderson, Nevada
Blackrock embraces the dramatic foothills of Sloan Canyon, creating a contemporary community that draws its identity from the desert's raw beauty. RVi's design uses natural materials, native vegetation, and strong architectural lines to connect residents to the surrounding landscape. Refined architectural lines, sculptural grading, and regionally inspired materials establish a sense of place that is contemporary and rooted in the Mojave Desert, using native vegetation, natural earth tones, and forms inspired by the desert. Native plant palettes and open-space integration preserve the character of the site while creating a visually cohesive community.
Moonlight; Maricopa, Arizona
Once a historic dairy and farming operation, the site is being transformed into a mixed-use community designed for connection, recreation, and long-term vitality. A diverse mix of residential neighborhoods is supported by integrated commercial and employment uses. Flexible land planning encourages a range of housing types and densities. An open space network anchors the development, highlighted by four neighborhood parks, event lawns, playgrounds, and outdoor fitness amenities. Integrated streetscapes, trails, and connected circulation create a cohesive framework that supports accessibility. Moonlight is envisioned as a vibrant, enduring community shaped by landscape, movement, and shared experience. RVi's scope included major general plan amendment, master planning, landscape architecture, PAD rezoning, theming, and construction administration.
