Rutgers Selects Winning Design

 

Historic Rutgers will get a touch of the modern and an undulating landscape along the Raritan River.

The design competition for the Rutgers campus in New Brunswick, N.J. has been won by Mexican architect Enrique Norten (TEN Arquitectos, Mexico City), in collaboration with Ignacio Bunster-Ossa, ASLA, of Wallace, Roberts & Todd Design. The winning design team was among five team finalists, all collaborating with landscape architects.

The Rutgers design features a new cylindrical glass admin building sited along the Raritan River and an undulating landscape?EUR??,,????'??+meeting the main design requirements: a more beautiful and pedestrian-friendly campus.
