New Products Save the Day

Mike Mauser recently had a big problem on his hands. As the grounds maintenance worker at Pearblossom Elementary School, Mauser tends the memorial rose garden that was planted over five years ago in memory of a young student. When Mauser returned from his vacation, a fellow worker had lopped off the roses. In just a few months the school was going to be honored with a distinguished school award and the grounds needed to be perfect.

To revitalize the memorial roses, Mauser transplanted each rose bush to a north facing, full-sun hillside. In each planting hole, he used a teaspoon of Biozome plant feeder to accelerate the growing process. Biozome is a natural product that conditions the soil and greatly increases plant growth while cutting water and fertilizer usage in half. To prepare the grounds for the award ceremony in April, Mauser planted new five gallon roses with the Biozome fertilizer at the memorial site. "I did them in January, by March I started to see some action on them," he explained. "About a month after that, they were bigger than the new ones I replanted at the memorial."
