Roger Dammer passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 89.

 

Dammer was a prominent landscape contractor in Bergen County, New Jersey, starting from humble beginnings in 1960. In an effort to create a community that would share landscaping knowledge, Dammer joined with other landscape contractors in his area to form the Bergen County Landscape Contractors Association (BCLCA) in 1966. This association eventually grew to become the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) in 1996.

Dammer served on the board and as a committed member for decades and is fondly remembered for his lively storytelling and bright spirit.
