RLA Receives President's Award John Grissim Recognized for Michigan Planning FARMINGTON HILLS, MI John Grissim, FASLA, President of Grissim/Metz Associates of Farmington Hills, Michigan, has received the prestigious 1998 President's Award from the Michigan Society of Planning Officials in recognition of his achievements as a Landscape Architect, civic volunteer and planner. Grissim was honored with the award at the joint conference of MSPO and the Michigan Chapter of the American Planning Association, which was attended by over 600 planning commissioners, zoning board of appeals members, and planning professionals. The President's Award is established to honor an individual who has "gone beyond the call of duty" to promote quality planning in the state of Michigan.
