FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. ?EUR??,,????'??+ The National Water Research Institute has announced the Second International Riverbank Filtration Conference, to be held Sept. 16-19 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio. The conference will examine the experiences of waterworks worldwide and address the issues faced by users of riverbank filtration, including costs, operational experiences, microorganisms and chemicals, riverbed dynamics and public policy. Full conference registration is $395, while one-day conference registration is $200. On the first day of the conference optional field trips, which cost $35, will include visiting the Louisville Water Company B.E. Payne Water Treatment Plant in Louisville, Kent., or the Charles M.
