Along the Blue River Regional Trail, River Park is an immersive themed playground and park space with custom nature play elements that utilize the great character and theme of the forests and the Blue River nearby. Serving as a tribute to the Blue River ecology animal species and the adjacent forested mountains that define the Blue River watershed, a story is built in the journey of water originating in the icy peaks above traveling to the river below and is depicted in the play features and elements throughout the park. River Park is a multi-phased implemented project funded in part by Get Outdoors Colorado.
