Richard Picatagi has been elected chairman of the Landscape Architect Examination and Evaluation Committee, the group responsible for the regulation of landscape architects in the state, under the auspices of the New Jersey State Board of Architects.
Picatagi was appointed to the committee in 2003 and is one of five landscape architects that comprise the body. The other four landscape architects are Linda Barie, Frederick Kniesler Jr., Joseph Sardonia and Anna Young.
Picatagi is a senior landscape architect and professional planner with LGA Engineering in Lakewood, part of the Birdsall Services Group. He has more than 24 years of experience in landscape architecture and planning, his professional work running the public, private, corporate and institutional projects gamut. Picatagi is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
