Soffit lighting does a great job of illuminating the fire pit seating area of this project in soft glow without taking away from the ambiance of the fire. Path lighting places throughout the bed spaces and flagstone pathways not only creates a safe walking area, but highlights pops of color throughout the landscape. Under mounted lighting on the fire pit, columns, and walls highlights these areas without being too distracting. The accent lighting on the pool water feature adds to the fun of nighttime swims!

 

The 2023 Lighting Issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. This project was not chosen for a Feature in the issue, but we at LandscapeArchitect.com thought the project deserved to be showcased online . . .
