This residence in Poipu Beach Kauai, on a one-acre property, is a two-bedroom classic plantation designed home. The lighting is a very simple design with three separate zones with one at the front of the property, one around the house, and one at the back of the property that buts up to a 2 1/2-acre archeological site that at nigh is very dark so having the landscape lighting really makes the backyard pop.

 
Brett Stewart with Island Earthworks used lights from many different suppliers being very specific with what was needed one of his favorites being the Gecko lights on the lava rock wall that goes around the driveway, they blend in nicely during the day and very effective at night.
