Reduce Water Needed to Maintain Vigorous Plants

Soil Moist must be incorporated into the soil at the root level of the plant/green good. Do not top dress or place on the surface. This product can be used for containers, baskets, flower beds, window boxes, trees, shrubs, turf and perennials and should be kept out of drains.

Soil Moist has been developed by JRM Chemical to reduce the amount of water needed to maintain plants and other green goods. When mixed in the soil, the crystals will soften and swell as water is added and absorbed. When the potting system dries, the polymer will release its water to the plant.

This product acts as a water reservoir--even during periods of drought the stored water is released to the plant. The expansion and retraction of the polymer during the watering cycle helps soil aeration, which is important to all plants.

The polymer granular is a soil amendment designed to reduce plant waterings by 50 percent, reduce transplant shock and soil compaction. It will remain effective in the soil for three to five years. It is an inexpensive form of insurance for the plant and is environmentally friendly.

With the exception of hydroseeding applications, this product must be incorporated into the soil at the root level of the plant/green good. Do not top dress or place on the surface. Results of these tests may vary, depending on soil conditions such as salts, pH, microorganisms and ultra-violet rays.
