With the launch of Village Nurseries Landscape Centers' redesigned website www.villagenurserieslc.com, landscape architects, contractors and designers have a site to find the plant materials to complement their designs, view new plantings (many of them exclusive), check availability and access one of the largest plant libraries on line. "When landscape professionals want information, they want it now," observed Mark Marriott, executive v.p. of Village Nurseries Landscape Centers. "Whether landscape architects and designers are looking for plantings for a residence or a major commercial design, we give them the tools they need to get the job done." Among the site's new navigation bars: • Synthetic turf"?uto compare turf cross-sections and use the estimator to determine overall costs. • Pottery"?ularge selection of shapes, finishes and sizes, especially larger sizes. • Wish list"?uto create customized plant lists to present to clients. The site also includes: • Plant palette search function by plant type and by seasonal availability. • "What's Growing Today," regularly updated slideshow. • "Availabilities""?uweekly updated availabilities, including top 300 new plants (registration required). • Plant library: every plant, from azaleas to vines, along with photos and recommended planting zones. Landscape professionals can access the Landscape Center closest to them with a single click.
