Record Attendance for 2014 LIGHTFAIR International
LIGHTFAIR International's five-day show in Vegas had 26,059 registered professional attendees to mark the show's 25th anniversary.

The 25th LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) trade show, June 1-5, in Las Vegas, set all-time attendance records. According to AMC, Inc., which produces the show, there were 26,059 professional attendees registered for the five-day show, 576 exhibitors (107 first-time exhibiting companies), and 103 manufacturers headquartered outside the U.S. Attendees hailed from 74 countries.
LFI reports it is the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. It is sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers, and the Illuminating Engineering Society.
The trade show floor featured a lighting product mix of more than 40 categories, including integrated design, alternative energy and solar power, organic light-emitting diodes, health care, hospitality, digital signage
and software.
The conference curriculum offered 220 hours of education and 81 accredited courses, also record numbers for the conference.
LFI also presented awards for new and innovative lighting technologies, products and designs in 14 categories. LFI received 261 submissions from 135 companies, and judged by an independent panel of lighting professionals. The full list of submissions and winners is at lightfair.com/lightfair/V40/lia/.
