Rec & Entertainment Preservation Conference

Preserve and Play: Preserving Historic Recreation and Entertainment is holding a national forum May 5-7, 2005 in Chicago.

The conference includes 70 presentations on evaluating, protecting, reusing, repairing and restoring historic properties; exhibits; book signings; tours; and AIA and ASLA continuing education credits.

Keynote addresses will be delivered by Witold Rybczynski, author of A Clearing In The Distance: Frederick Law Olmsted and America in the 19th Century, and Tim Samuelson, Chicago's preeminent cultural historian.
