Rain Bird Wins AE50 Award

The American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) recently recognized Rain Bird??????oe for its engineering excellence with a prestigious AE50 Award. Each year ASAE pays tribute to the top 50 products introduced for agricultural, food, biological and related systems.

Rain Bird received the award for its development of the 5000/5000 Plus MPR nozzles, which eliminate the adjustability limits of MPR nozzles with fixed arc patterns. This enables water application to be custom-tailored to deliver matched precipitation rates within and between radii from 25 to 35 feet.

The 2003 award was presented to Rain Bird in August at the ASAE annual conference in Ottawa, Canada.
