Designed by a team of contractors, JobFLEX• is a new mobile application designed for Android 4.0 phones and tablets to turn out contracting quotes at a job site instead of having to do so in an office.

To create a quote for a job, landscape contractors often have to examine the potential job site and then return to the office to generate the paperwork.

A U.S. software company, JobFLEX•, has recently released an app that provides contractors the ability to produce on-the-spot quotes. It is a paperless process designed to not only generate professional proposals outside of the office, but also maintain the job files at the job site. This mobile technology application purports to reduce the time spent on various tasks.

"Time is money in the contracting world. Our priority is to reduce the time contractors have to spend stuck in the office and dealing with paperwork," says Sam Flanery.

According to him, quotes can be generated in under 3 minutes. The app is compatible for all Android 4.0 phones and tablets and also includes a web-portal with customer management, scheduling, digital file storage, and data export features.

The Michigan-based software firm is owned and operated by individuals with decades of experience in the contracting business who deemed that there was an absence of simple, mobile solutions designed with contractors and their workflows in mind.
