QCP's New Twist Bench

Quick Crete Products Corp collaborated with Cliff Garten Studio to create the Twist Bench, a precast concrete design in the manufacturer's Agora collection.

Quick Crete Products Corp recently introduced a new Twist Bench precast concrete design for private and public spaces. The Twist Bench is the latest offering from the Agora line of contemporary site amenities, and a milestone in the manufacturer's relationship with Cliff Garten Studio of Venice, Calif., the sculptor of the bench.

The bench's sweeping design features a prominent "twist' that guides the form and provides smooth seating for up to four. The manufacturer and Cliff Garten Studio continue to explore the relationship between functionality and artistry by inviting visitors to connect with their surroundings.

"We are excited to share the Twist Bench with the world," stated Rick Crook, chief executive officer of QCP. "What you see if the result of a true collaboration between our team and Cliff Garten Studio to bring out the very best in both contemporary sculptural design and American craftsmanship."

The bench is nine feet long and weighs in at 1,800 pounds. The bench can stand on its own or can be repeated to create links of continuous seating. The manufacturer offers five standard colors as well as custom color options available upon request. It is available in acid etch, heavy acid etch and rusticated finished with optional honed or polished top surfaces available.
