Prognosis Grim for Cemetery Trees

Norwegian maple trees are a deciduous tree 20-30 meters tall with a broad, rounded crown and grey-brown, shallowly grooved bark; unlike many other species of maple, mature trees do not tend to develop a shaggy bark.

Concern has grown over the condition of the pine trees, but even more pressing is the concern for the Norwegian maples, according to the diagnosis of certified arborist Eric Davis from Tree Care Inc, in Troy.

There was some positive news from the arborist.
